Lessons Learned from my freshman year
1. Learning doesn't just take place in a classroom; I can learn from everything and everyone around me if I simply look around.
2. It's ok to skip homework once in a while and enjoy the day.
3. I like having someone to talk to right before I sleep and when I wake up. Hooray for an awesome roommate!
4. Forgive and forget.
5. Boys usually aren't worth too much of my time, and if he is...make sure of it before giving away precious time.
6. Rexburg is a time warp. It really is-I'll have to find the switch to turn it on & off.
7. I can now run up the hill to church in a dress-IN HEELS- in 3 min. flat. Whoever didn't offer me a track scholarship would regret it if they could only see.

8. Talk to people. Be the first to say hello.
9. Time and distance doesn't mean you have to lose good friends.
10. Don't give up. Ever.
11. Music, ice cream, and sleep can usually fix anything.
12. Exercise. consistently.
13. I learned how to blow fire http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/?of=100000177352446 (Yet I can't get a link to work on my blog, so just copy and paste. Maybe NEXT year I'll have to learn that? ;)
14. Listen to other people. This is can be different than agreeing.
15. It's ok to get older. I suppose.
