The YW in my ward decided to take a challenge and when we completed our goal we went down to Salt Lake for the day to see the Salt Lake Temple and the YW Broadcast, live in the Conference Center. It was such a wonderful experience and I feel so blessed that I could be a part of it all. My ward and YW are amazing and it was great to spend a whole day on the temple grounds, just feeling the spirit and being with the young women. It was a long day, beginning at 6 am, but it was well worth it. The flowers on Temple Square are so PRETTY!
We got amazing seats in the Conference Center, they were so close to the front and it was incredible. I have never seen the prophet in person and when he walked into the room, we all fell silent immediately. The spirit was so strong and I couldn't help but close my eyes and just soak in the wonderful spirit. Words can't even describe it.
Overall, it was just great to spend the day on the temple grounds. I loved every minute of it. Not only is it a beautiful place to be, but the spirit makes it so special. There is no where else in the world I would rather be. I'm going there someday!
