State Track Championships

Track and running is one of my favorite things to do. It's also one of the hardest I've done, but with the challenge comes a good feeling of accomplishment too. It's totally worth all the blood, sweat, and tears when you earn what you have worked hard for. State track was way fun. I had a blast with my team. Nothing feels better than working really hard for something and accomplishing it.I went in my 300 hurdles and in the 4 x 400 relay. We ran our hearts out at districts and earned our spot. It was fun to relax at our hotel. But when it came time to step into my blocks, I was so overwhelmed with all of the PEOPLE there. It was incredible. Nothing compares to the adrenaline rush when they call your name and you step into your blocks. There I am after my hurdle race.

When we got to the track to practice, it was HUGE. I loved running on their track and warming up in their blocks as a Grizzly. It was my last time running for Skyline and I have loved every season of track and cross country. There were always those hard workouts, or times when I wanted to quit, but I didn't and I am so glad I didn't. Because there were also those moments when every bit of hard work that I put in left me feeling on top of the world. I put my whole heart into it and it taught me a lot about life. My best memories come from here.

I Could Have Danced All Night

Commencement was a good last high school memory to enjoy. I had a great time with my date and we had so much fun together. I don't think I've laughed so hard in a while.

My Mom got caught with the "just ONE more picture" disease that night. So me and Trevor ended up being a little late to dinner at Olive Garden. We ended up ordering our food on our way to the restaurant because everyone else was already there. Good thing my mom got some pics though...

Ok ....I LOVE these shoes. So we had to take a picture before the dance. It was so fun to get all dressed up like a princess for the dance. I felt like Cinderella going to the ball that night. It was perfect and SO much fun. Except I think I had an even BETTER time than any Cinderella... :)

The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the end of the night. I could have danced and laughed the whole night away. Me and my date enoyed it and it's a great memory that I won't soon forget.
